Last week, the little Tops and I took the Duck Bank with us on an outing.
We thought she’d appreciate a new nest site.
First, we coaxed her into bathing in the sun at the edge of a quagmire (<= I had to look that word up.)
Then, we went all the way to the seaside. And there we found the perfect site.
As always, this kind of exercise leaves me with a ton of questions.
When Mother Duck Bank lays eggs, will these contain little Duck Banks? And if so, will the little Banks be filled to the brim, or will they come into this world with emtpy bellies? What will Mother Duck Bank feed them? Can the Bank family survive without money, or on a diet of foreign coins washed ashore? Will they accept the make-belief money Top3 and Top4 produce on a daily basis?

of course, they’ll thrive on tops’ money!
That was an outing with a fun mom – you! I agree with Francesca – Top’s money!
