The little Tops love to play around with tea-warmers. They haven't set the house on fire yet, so we just let them.
And sometimes the result is amazing!

This is lovely and poignant---a reminder that we have the ability and capacity to light up our wee corner of the world.
yes, truely amazing.

Cool--the shadow looks like it is dancing while the figure is still.
Where children play, angels may appear :)
I use to have one of these guys and he was fun to play with! Very nice light. xo
Such fun.
He is holding his light carefully I hope. It's hard without thumbs!
This is a lovely idea.:)
he did a great job with the wooden dummy and the light like that!! he will be warm now -- the dummy ;-))
yes, indeed! I wish you all a nice (and warm) evening!
yes, how amazing. keep warm :)
Amazing is right!
Lovely indeed!
I too agree with making children aware of danger and how to avoid it (sharp objects, candles etc) and then let them play and experiment (with a watchful eye).
I like this wooden figure holding a candle! Good idea :)
I love Anna's comment. I love how you allow your children to have so much creativity. I probably don't do enough to encourage it in my house.
When I was a kid I only burned my club house down once!
you are very brave and your children are very original!
They are magical aren't they?
Wonderful title ,
'wings of light'.
And I love the way the light lights up the heart of the 'angel':)
So creative at your place!--I have my tea light in a regular old wooden stand with a glass dish, today it was filled with 'orange' fragrance.
Happy light-filled days,
♡
and so you should. they'll become cool big tops one day because they were allowed to be ;)
"mijn" strand was zandvoort, hoor ;)
