Seeing Things

I've been away on business, which for the most part meant I had to refrain from a certain level of playful perceptiveness. Luckily, for the blog I have many shots in stock like this one.

When spotting this "creature", I remember thinking "What does it see? What does it feel? The sun? The grass? The hestiant promise of frost oozing out of the ground?"

There's a poem in there somewhere, don't you think?

I think it's "Nessie" in disguise as she is vacationing outside of Scotland.

I'm smiling at Heather's comment and echoing Francesca's question.

Thanks for your words of encouragement. I did take a step back this weekend. I started to feel quilty last night when I looked at the notebooks still ungraded, but my inner self needed to rest and heal and I gave it that time. I read a good novel that made me think, while giving me a great story that flowed in such a way that at times I couldn't put the 'book' (I have a Kindle) down.
I'm glad you're back.
