A few weeks ago, Top1 finished a cuter-than-cute fibula brooch, made out of forged brass, silver (pin), glass enamel, new silver (pinhead) and red copper.

The stylized leaf is based on images he found in facsimile Egyptian papyri, hence the name: Isis.

I have a similar brooch (with a flower pin adorned with slightly darker enamel), which I use as a fastener for a woolen cardigan I knitted a couple of years ago. So, I speak from experience when I say this is a real eye-catcher!
