This is a pre-scheduled post. Will resume regular blogging next week.
The only thing lacking in this whole series about our crafty Christmas decoration, is a photograph accurately portraying the lovely atmosphere these candle-lit sceneries provide from late afternoon till night. My camera, not the best for artificial light, clearly does not like candlelight as well.
But let me assure you, in the evening, come Christmas Day (pre-scheduled post, remember), I am sitting here in this room, with the candles lit and a blazing fire in the wood-burning stove, writing and perhaps drawing, perfectly happy to just BE.
And these sceneries the other Flows designed (I came up with the idea of window decorating, the three of them made it), undoubtedly help to give me that sense of contentment.
Merry Christmas all!

These are beautiful! I'm so glad you showed us the total picture. I would not have guessed from the glimpses of the other posts. Such lovely creativity!
I am fascinated with the clean and functional lines of furniture and homes in the Scandinavian countries. With so many countries represented here in the states, a lot of the homes are a mixture of architectural styles, probably confusing the house and anyone who enters! My house is early 1900s craftsman style–I'm not certain what nationality influenced that particular architecture.
Anyhow, we just came from church and are headed to my husband's sister's house in a little while. I won't see any more kids and grandkids until tomorrow–am recovering from yesterday!
Merry Christmas to you all! ♥Beth♥
So lovely. I love the window decorating idea.
Have a nice day "being".
Wonder-filled scenes! Merry Christmas.
Wishing you a beautiful and happy healthy holiday!
